My Craft Spot Stamp Release Party Day 4 - Bundle of Joy

Hello and welcome to Day 4 of the My Craft Spot Stamp Release Party week!  I'm happy you stopped by today to get a closer look at my sneak peek of the the new Bundle of Joy stamp set!  If you are a follower of mine, I'm sure you have noticed my over-use of the this tiny giraffe from Sugar & Spice and the sentiment from My Craft Spot's Happily Ever After set!  Kimberly did an amazing job coming up with a solution for my need for Baby stamps...Thank You Kimberly!!!  Here is my sneak peek for today (and I promise it is the last time you'll see these little giraffes here at My 3 E Scrapbooking because this wiped out my stash of pre-cut ones...hehe)!

I have so many family members and friends who are expecting right now, so baby cards, invitations and party favors are most in demand right now! I'm so glad I pre-cut several of these little giraffes, because they have been such a time saver, not to mention adorable!  As you can suspect from this card, a friend is expecting twin girls...YAY!!

This "Special Delivery" sentiment from the new Bundle of Joy stamp set is perfect for the occasion...

...and the inside Bundle of Joy sentiment is so sweet too!

As I said yesterday, in an effort to not take up too much of your time, I will post more details about my projects at a later time for anyone who would like them!  Stop by My Craft Spot for your chance to win another great prize today and for some amazing inspiration from the talented Kimberly as well as the My Craft Spot Design Team!!  We can not wait for you to see the big reveal on Saturday! Thanks for stopping by today and please stop back again tomorrow for our last day of sneek peaks!

My Craft Spot Post Details

Hello Everyone! Today I am posting over at My Craft Spot.  I am sharing a crafty tip with a card using My Craft Spot's Happily Ever After stamp set. A few weeks ago I posted a Baby Boy giraffe card using the set and today I have a Baby Girl card using the same little giraffe!  Here are the details!

I've been cutting several cuts at a time on my 6x6 paper sheets lately. This way, I don't have the scraps of paper laying around and I can throw a card together in no time when I need one!  We all know how hard even the littlest of pieces are to throw away, but this way, I feel like I got good use out of it and I can throw those tiny tid-bits away!  The giraffe is from the Sugar & Spice Cricut Cartridge and I didn't save it on my Gypsy but I believe I cut 4 or 5 of them at 2.5" each on the 6x6 sheets.

This weekend, those pre-cut giraffes came in handy because I needed a card made quickly.  I started with the little giraffes that I had cut a few weeks ago and placed it on some pieces of MME Oh La La paper until I found the pattern I liked.  Then I picked my layers to match from there, sewed them together, popped this adorable little guy on their with some dimensionals and added my current favorite Baby sentiment (which yes, I know I need to stop using it so much but it works great : )

The Twinery Pink Sorbet and Green Apple Divine Twines matched my colors perfectly so I tied them onto a coordinating button and I was done with my quicky Baby Girl card and off to the Baby Shower!

My Craft Spot Challenge #56 - Congratulations

Good morning!  The lazy days of summer are almost here!  We had preschool graduation yesterday which means I'm off for the summer now....WOOHOO!!!  Did you all have a chance to meet the new DT members at My Craft Spot last week?  They are all incredibly talented and we are so excited to be working with them this term!  We have a new, fun Monday challenge this week.  It is Congratulations and we want to see all those graduation, new baby, new job, etc projects!  Here is one of mine.

This one is very dear to me.  It is going out for a soon-to-be new member of the family.  We are so excited for this little one so I made a special card for Mommy-to-be!  I used MME Fine & Dandy Boy paper and the little giraffe from the Sugar & Spice Cricut Cart.  I hand cut the little banner and tied it up with some Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine available at My Craft Spot.

I used My Craft Spot Milk Chocolate Crinkle Ribbon and stamped the "So happy for you!" sentiment which is from the My Craft Spot Happily Ever After stamp set.

I also have some little graduation cards to share with you.

I used the My Craft Spot Tiny Tags Stamp Set and Grad Anya and Ian from The Greeting Farm.

They are for my little preschool class who graduated yesterday.  They are not as nice as I would have like but I was working on them until 2 am Sunday morning.  I may have procrastinated a little too long but they kids loved them, especially since they each got one that looked like them!

Please stop by and check out the amazing Congratulation projects from the rest of the DT at My Craft Spot and play along for your chance to win a fantastic prize!  Thanks for stopping by!

Whimsical Wednesday Ch #20 - Inspiring Words Challenge

**Click HERE for the My Craft Spot Stamp Release Party**

We have another fun challenge today at Whimsical Wednesday!  You must stop by to see the inspiration photo then create a project/card inspired by one of the words in the picture. You must also include that word on your project/card.  The first word that stuck out to me was "Love" and then I immediately thought of babies, so I made a baby card for your inspiration today!

I'm going to apologize right now for the picture quality.  My camera is on the way to the becoming my kids camera if it keeps this up!  I've been trying to get it to last until Christmas but it is not looking good!  I think I may need to replace it before then!  Here is my Baby Love card

Lately, I have been making all my cards oddly sized.  I have a drawer full of different sized envelopes that I am trying to use.  I'm pretty sure the elephant was from Sugar & Spice cart.  All the papers/cut outs were pulled from my scrap pile!  The sentiment, bakers twine (on the tail) and Crinkle Ribbon are all from My Craft Spot.

The Design Team sneak peeks are amazing at Whimsical Wednesday and I can't wait to see what inspired them this week!  Barb from Bug Bites is sponsoring our challenge with her All Year Around Stamp Set.  Thanks Barb!  Please join us for our photo inspiration challenge!  You still have a week to play the Three Times A Charm challenge and you'll have two weeks to play our new challenge!  Thanks for stopping by today!

It's A Zoo in Here LO

More than Favors Wacky Wednesday #28 Challenge is Zoo Theme!  I thought this would be a fun way to use up some scraps from my 3 year old's second birthday scrapbook.  She had a jungle party and I had made her an 8x8 book.  I couldn't find the 8x8 jungle pad when I made her book so I had to buy it in 12x12.  This left me with a lot of large scraps!  I saw this as a perfect opportunity to follow Sonia's Challenge to use my scraps up over the next 2 months.  Here is my new Zoo LO made with mostly all leftover treasures from the Jungle scrapbook!  Isn't recycling great!

A Cherry Hello Card

Many days I find myself visiting Scraps 4 Fun not only because Sonia always post the most incredible cards but also because she has a fun list of challenges listed for each day.  Thank you Sonia for the inspiration!  Today I found the Colour Create Challenge Blog!   The challenge is to use the colors from 3 Fruits pictured for the challenge.  I chose to use the red cherry, pink watermelon, and green kiwi in  my card and I also used one of the fruits in my card!

I used Soft Suede for the base of my card to look like the outside of the Kiwi!  I also used my sewing machine again (although it does not show well in the photograph)!  My sewing machine is on a roll this week!   I do love how this turned out and I really enjoyed the challenge!

Products Used
  • Stampin' Up! Solid CS
  • DCWV All About Girls Mat Stack
  • Sugar & Spice Cricut Cartridge (Base, Scalloped and Circles)
  • Gypsy to weld the base
  • Country Life Cricut Cartridge
  • My Pink Stamper Fruit and Veggie Puns Stamp set

A Huge Thanks!!!

I saw the cutest idea over at http://www.scrappin5littlecupcakes.blogspot.com/.  Cristi made a thank you card for her followers.  I thought that was awesome!  Thank you Cristi!
I wanted to thank each and every one of you for your awesome and sweet comments!  I am  thrilled that people are viewing my work and that I actually have followers that like my work!!!!  Thank you so much!  Here is my Thank You card for each of you!

I plan on hopping over to each one of your blogs to check them out!  I am finished with everything I can do for now on my Baby shower favors so hopefully I'll have some extra time today!  The only thing I have to do is stuff the bags.  I say that like it is nothing but I know it will take me an entire day to tediously stuff them, put the toppers on and tie the ribbons!  Since these have perishable items in them, I will wait until the day before they are to be picked up to stuff them.  Thankfully, there are only 30 bags.  Last time I had an order for favors with food items, they needed 50!  They also had chocolate in them and it was the middle of July...YIKES!!!   It took me 12 hours to get them all done!  Anyway, I'll have pictures soon!  Thanks again!
