OK...I am about crafted out for the day but I have kept my mind busy so mission accomplished today! Today was another fabulous My Pink Stamper
Pinkalicious Blog Hop Friday and what a wonderful way to start the weekend! Robyn and her Design Team did an amazing job! I was in aww every time I jumped to the next blog! Thanks to all of you for the wonderful inspiration tonight!
So, the theme was Spring and the challenge is to do a layout. Robyn, you read my mind today! If you've seen my posts for Friday, you know I've been a busy girl!! I actually started on pieces to this page earlier today but it just was not working. I wanted to recreate and use up my scraps of ribbon from my
CTO DT project. I laid them out on white paper and was photographing along the way so everyone could see how to make the ribbon rainbow!
I was going to use this LO for my FCCB project but I could not decide on a tree, I didn't like the rainbow on the white, and I couldn't decide on a picture. It just wasn't working so I ripped off the ribbon and started on a completely different project (the Color my World card in my last post)!
Well, the MPS DT really inspired me tonight. After hopping through their blogs, I began to picture my new LO and as I posted my last post, I realized which picture I needed to scrapbook! This is what my boring white piece of paper transformed into...

The ribbon is a little sloppy looking because of it being ripped from the white paper today, but I just couldn't throw it away (I'm a scrappy scrapper)! After seeing all the Colors, all the Butterflies, and all the Buggy Punnies this evening, this is what my brain came up with! This picture is of my oldest E and this place, this moment in time, and this picture has sooooo much meaning behind it. She is visiting "her butterfly home" and she was leaving behind a piece of her family's history! It is a touching moment and I am so happy that this LO captures it so perfectly! I think this LO is going to be framed and hung in her bedroom rather than placed in her scrapbook! I just love what this LO became. Thank you MPS for the inspiration to create this piece!!
