My Craft Spot Stamp Release Day 1

*Sorry for the change in location. I'll be posting at my3ekids.blogspot.com until I get my blog back into a working order*

It is party time at My Craft Spot! Kimberly is releasing 5 new stamp sets and we will be showing off our sneak peeks all this week! There will be prizes along the way and we will end the week with a fun blog hop! Today the stamp set being release will be available immediately! It is called Happy Easter and it has not only Easter stamps but Mother's Day covered too! Here is my project for today!

I used TiddlyInks Wryn Somebunny Loves You inside an oval egg and shaped the "Happy Easter" sentiment around it. "Some bunny loves you!" is stamped, cut out with a circle punch, then cut in half.
I tied some MCS Pink Bubblegum Crinkle Ribbon and added a Posy Bakers Twine bow. The paper is MME Happy Go Lucky and I distressed the edges with my scissors then sewed it all down. It is layered onto SU ardstock.
Make sure you stop by My Craft Spot and join us all week long for the party! Thanks for stopping by today!

My Craft Spot Valentines Stamp Release

Hello Everyone!  Today is finally my day to showcase the new stamps over at My Craft Spot...WooHoo!!  I've been having so much fun playing with them and mixing them into my projects!!  I worked on all these projects away from my scrap room with limited supplies, so many of them are simple (no sewing this time) but I do love how they came out!  Here are the new stamps if you haven't seen them yet!

I have to say that the Build A Valentine is my fav!  I've been using it on everything from Valentines Day projects to Birthday Cards!  This is going to be long so I'll try not to chat too much!

I wanted to make a Cricut card for all my Cricutee friends out there (yes I am making that a word...hehe)!

I knew when I saw these Conversation Hearts last year that I needed the Simply Charmed cartridge!  I've used that cart like a maniac since and I knew they had to be the first Valentines project this year!

The stamps are both from the new Always & Forever set and the twine is the new yummy Valentine Twist  both available at My Craft Spot!

The embossing folder, punch and cardstock are all from Stampin' Up!

Next up is the card I made for the inspiration of all my Digi friends (and Twilight Fans)!

What is Heart Day without a little Edward and Bella......hmmmmmm!!  They are actually Dressy Ed and Dressy Camille digis from The Greeting Farm!  Aren't they the cutest!?!  Again, I used the Always & Forever Set and some Black Seam Binding both from My Craft Spot!

I'm also using one of the new Bitty Bags as the envie for this one!  I thought the black polka dot looked great with the MME Oh La La for Her paper pad!

Ok, one last card with just my stamps and punches!  No machinery needed!

This stamp reminded me of the love notes we used to pass around in junior high!!  I used some Rusty Red Seam Binding and tied on a little Valentine Twist Bakers Twine Bow!  The little Valentine Bauble is K&Co!

All the cardstock and punches are SU!  I of course needed to add some doodles to my little love note!!!  Brings back memories!

So, what do you think so far?  I know, they are all missing my sewing machine!  Well I can't end there with just a few cards!  I have one more project to share with you so bare with me here!

What is Valentines Day without some little treat bags!  I love how cutely the Build a Valentine stamps went with these adorable images from TiddlyInks!

This little guy is Little Hopper!  I added some glossy accents to the eyes to make them shine!

Little Squeaker is such a Cutie Pie!!  I added a little glossy to her bow!

Little So and So went so perfectly with the new "Dino-mite!" stamp, don't you think!?!  I added some glossy to his spikes!

I saved the best for last!  This is sweet Little Bear!!  He is soooooo cute!  I would love for him to "Be Mine"!  I added some glossy to his little nose!

These are all little brown bags that I simply covered with cardstock (SU).  I stamp the CS with the SU Sprinkles stamp (retired) to get a patterned look and inked all the edges (I realized after getting home from my crop weekend with them, that I could have just used the new stamp sets to make the pattern effect, each set has a collection of tiny heart stamps!!)  The little Martha Stewart Lacey Punch border was a last minute addition to these little treats.

Each little bag has a coordinating Crinkle Ribbon handle to finish them off!

The super cute sentiment is from My Craft Spot as are the black/purple bakers twine and the deep purple crinkle ribbon. I added some colored google eyes to the bow to give it a spooky effect and liquid pearls to the borders on the card.

The inside is stamp with the second half of this Inside & Out Sentiment set from My Craft Spot and the "Happy Boo-day" is MPS.

Hello everyone!  Just another scheduled post here today.  I'm so sorry and I hope to get back to my blog/crafting here soon!!  This week at Birthday Sundaes our challenge is Buttons on your Birthday Cards!  This card is very special because I plan on giving it to my Mom for her Birthday this month!!  This is what I came up with for your "buttons" inspiration this week!

Yes, I am aware that I have been neglecting my poor Cricuts lately!  I know they miss me and I hope to sit down and use at least one of them again soon!!  The sentiment is of course My Craft Spot.   The image is from Tiddly Inks!  I can't get enough of these images and I have found that I can work on them anywhere!  It is also very soothing to sit and color when I can!

Make sure to check out the rest of the Birthday Sundaes Design Team wonderful Birthday cards using buttons this week!  You have until next Saturday to join in the fun!!  Thanks for stopping by!

My Craft Spot Sneak Peek - Candy Corn Kisses

Hello Everyone!  Today starts our week long Stamp Release Party at My Craft Spot!  WooHoo!!  Kimberly is releasing four new stamp sets this week and they are all fabulous!  I am so excited to be giving you one of the first Sneak Peeks today of the new stamp set, "Candy Corn Kisses"!   This set is as cute as it sounds and is packed full with super fun Halloween stamps!  There are so many fun stamps in this set, that I had a hard time picking just one to show you today, so of course, I used a few!  I cannot stop playing with this set!  Here is my first sneak peek!

I have been wanting to make a step card for some time.  Since I LOVE Halloween, I thought this would be the perfect time to make one!

I love this fun "Fright Night" stamp and I have been finding so many ways to use it!

...and what would a super cute ghost be without a "BOO!"

Here is a look at the layers and of the Crinkle Ribbon Bow.  I also tied on some of the super cute Halloween Bakers Twine which is now available at My Craft Spot!  I had planned on adding a banner to it, but it would not hang the way I liked!

...and now for my second sneak peek for today!

I needed a birthday card for my best friend!  Her birthday is coming up and she loves everything fun about Halloween!

I absolutely LOVE this stamp and I thought it would be perfect for her Birthday card!  What do you think?

I also added a gorgeous My Craft Spot Crinkle Ribbon bow to this card to match the inking around the sentiment!  I just found Tiddlyinks so I had to play with some of the adorable Halloween images.

I'll have more details on both of these projects tomorrow!  If you are loving what you see, then go to My Craft Spot to see all the amazing sneak peeks from Kimberly, Marlene, Aymee and Amy!  We are going to be sharing so many fun projects all week long showcasing the four new stamp sets and ending with a fun Blog Hop on Friday!  There are going to be fun prizes all week, so make sure you check it out!

Stamp Release Party Giveaways:
Each day this week Kimberly will have a fun prize for you from My Craft Spot!  Then, on Friday, each stop on the Hop will be giving away one of the new stamp sets!
