Twine it Up Blog Hop

Hello Everyone! Welcome to the Twine it Up Blog Hop hosted by Jenny at Crazy about Cricut and the Thankful Thursday Design Team! Thankful Thursday is all about getting crafty with your kiddos (or loved ones)!! If you are coming from the talented Cheryl at Cards by CG then you are heading in the right direction! If not, stop by Crazy about Cricut to start from the beginning!  This month Jenny has some great prizes for hopping, 10 yards of twine and some action wobbles...YAY!!!

I'm going to keep this short and sweet because I'm having some blogger issues tonight.  I haven't been on here since the update and I'm having problems with it!  We made a cute little fall card using a  Simply Betty Stamp that I found colored in my stash.  It was from last fall!

My girls LOVE using the Big Shot to emboss EVERYTHING so they worked on that part of our card.

We tied on a simple Bow using Aqua Delight Timeless Twine.  The ribbon and sentiment are from My Craft Spot

My girls thought this was the best part of the card!  They love the action wobbles!

We have 3 birthday parties this weekend so Birthday cards is the project for today!  This is one of the 3 simple birthday cards I created using the Tiny Tags 2 set and the Tiny Tags Metal Dies....LOVE THEM!!!!  The dies work so nicely with both of the Tiny Tags sets available at My Craft Spot!

The paper is MME Out of the Blue 6x6 paper which I sewed down to the base and this cute little fox is from the B is for Boy Cricut cart.

After using the Tiny Tag Die to cut, I added one of the borders from the original Tiny Tags set and a cute sentiment from Tiny Tags 2 Stamp Set.  Quick and simple!

Speaking of those fantastic TINY TAGS METAL DIES, who would love to win a set?

Please leave me a comment letting me know which is your favorite new stamp set this week for your chance to win them! I'll announce the winner on Monday so stop back to see if you've won!

Made for Mom Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Made for Mom Blog Hop hosted by the talented Jenny at Crazy about Cricut and the fabulous Thankful Thursday Design Team!  Mother's Day is around the corner and so we are busy making gifts for those very special women in our lives!!  If you just came from Jenny's blog, then you are heading in the right direction!  If you are just stopping by to say hi today (thanks), make sure you hop on over to Crazy About Cricut to start from the beginning!  There are going to be so many great Mommy's Day ideas that you are not going to want to miss!

This month we were asked to share any present from our kids, or what we give to our Mom's for Mother's Day.  I have a super cute project my girls have been wanting to make for some time!  They wanted to make one to give to their grandmother for Mother's Day and even though she helped us create them, she doesn't know it is for her yet!!  We already know she LOVES it!

We made Fairy/Butterfly Gardens!  Isn't it cute?

Much of what we used was re-purposed material making these perfect projects to make during Earth Day weekend!  We started with these big snack barrels which I've been saving all year at the preschool for a project like this!  They are made with very heavy, recycled plastic which made for the a great planting container.

After the first one, we found it was easier to drill holes in the bottoms for the water when they are not cut apart.  We put Daddy in charge of this job making it a true family affair!

The girls went around the yard collecting little things to decorate their gardens.

You can see all the bits and pieces they collected.  The decorative stones also line the bottom of the container.  They were from our wedding reception.  I was glad to finally find a use for some of them!

This element was one of the girls favorites!  They said the fairies needed a table so an upturned tea cup and saucer did the trick!

Here are the girls showing off their fine work!  This was there trial garden and they are going to be making more of them today with their friends!

Now, what Mother/Grandmother wouldn't love one of these adorable little gardens?  I'm sure their grandmother is going to LOVE placing this at her house although I don't know if she is going to be able to wait until Mother's Day to get it...hehe!

Thank you so much for hopping with us today!  I hope this inspired a fun project for you and/or your kiddos!  Now, hop on to your next stop, one of our talented guest designers...

My Craft Spot Spring Stamp Release Blog Hop

Goodmorning and welcome to the My Craft Spot Spring Stamp Release Blog Hop!  I hope you have been enjoying the beautiful sneak peeks Kimberly and the Design Team have been showcasing this week!  What do you think of those stamps!?!  I'm loving each and every one of them!

You should have arrived from the talented Ally at Rock Paper Cricut.  If not, make sure you hop on over to My Craft Spot to start at the begining of the hop because you are not going to want to miss a stop!  There are gorgeous projects and a set of stamps to be won at each stop...WooHoo!

My first project uses both Happily Ever After and Tiny Tags

It is a baby boy card and I made it to show you how versatile the Happily Ever After Stamp Set can be!  The little toy is cut from B is For Boy Cartridge.

I added a Tiny Tag with some Vintage Blue Bakers Twine.  It is all layered onto MME Portobello Road pattern paper and Stampin' Up cardstock.

Across the bottom I used the "So happy for you" sentiment off of Happily Ever After and tied some Stormy Day Crinkle Ribbon.

Next I have a little spring card to share with you.

I absolutely LOVE the  new Butterfly Kisses Stamp Set.  I couldn't resist using this sentiment this week!  I paired it with the cute little HG Rain, Rain Digi from The Greeting Farm and MME Jack & Jill pattern paper.

I layered the pp panels, sentiment, digi with dimensionals and added some Gold Seam Binding to finish it off!

My last card didn't turn out so nicely.
I saw a card like this at my Stampin' Up Demo's house and thought I could make it.  Well, it turned out to be a lot harder to scraplift than I thought it would!

I LOVE the sweet treat cups, but have a hard time bringing myself to use them.  It took me a while to figure out how to make it stand like a regular card but still get the M&Ms out!

A slider on a 3x3 attached to the card is what I ended up coming up with.

I thought after all the hard work, I would turn this into a Mother's Day Card.  I used the "Happy Mother's Day" sentiment from the new Happy Easter set.

Ok, so what do you think so far?  As promised I have a special stamp set to give away today.  One LUCKY winner will win the Happy Easter Stamp Set!  Please leave me a comment letting me know which is your favorite new stamp set!   I'll draw the winner next week so stop back to see if you've won!

Well, thank you for hopping by today!  There is a copy of the Blog Hop line-up below in case you get lost along the way.  I also added my sneak peeks for the week in case you missed them!  It is time for you to hop on to your next stop to see the amazing work from my talented friend
