My Craft Spot Holiday Stamp Release Party Day 1

Happy Halloween everyone!  I don't know about you but now that Halloween is here, I'm ready to start thinking about Christmas!  I've got a huge Christmas list so I like to make as many gifts as possible!

Today is the first day of the My Craft Spot Holiday Stamp Release Party!  WooHoo!!!  Kimberly has done it again with a new Holiday line of Stamps Sets, some beautiful Crinkle Ribbon sets in holiday colors and she now has some new delicious colors of Bakers Twine!  I've been having so much fun playing with all these new sets!  We will be sneak peeking a new set every day this week at My Craft Spot and then Saturday all 5 Stamp Sets will be revealed and available for order!   There will prizes all week and we'll end the week with a Blog Hop and stamp set to be won at every stop!

Today's set we are sneak peeking is called Jingle All the Way!  Here is what I made!

This is one of the many hand made items I like to make each year (and my family now expects them).  I collect my burnt out lightbulbs all year so I can re-purpose them into christmas ornaments.  Over the years I've made Snowmen, Santa, Mrs. Claus, Rudolph and now the Grinch!

This "Merry Christmas" is just one of the cute stamps in this fun Jingle All the Way set!  It makes the perfect tag to go with my bulbs!

The bulbs are super easy to make!  I painted them green and the tops red.  Once it dried, I drew the face on with a black permanent marker.  I used hot glue for the fur on the hat.  I applied it to the hat then let it cool slightly.  Then I stuck my finger in it to roughed it up to give it dimension and painted it white after it dried!  Super easy!  The hardest part is finding a place in my house to let it sit and dry without getting fingerprints on it!  It is also getting harder now that the new bulbs last longer!!

So, there is my first sneak peek for the week!  I'll be back again tomorrow with another fun project using another one of the new sets!  If you haven't seen them, you must stop by My Craft Spot to see all the amazing projects Kimberly and the Design Team have made using the Jingle All the Way Stamp Set!  You'll have a chance to win the Friends & Neighbors stamp set (stop by My Craft Spot to see how)!  Thank for stopping by today!

My Craft Spot Challenge #30 - 3D Halloween

Hello Everyone!  It is another beautiful fall day here and Halloween is right around the corner!  I love making all kinds of spooky goodies for my girls and my friends!  Can you guess where I am going with this?  This week at My Craft Spot we have another fun Monday Challenge...3D Halloween!  We want to see your 3D Halloween projects and treat packages!  Here is what I made for your inspiration!

It is cold/flu season so I have been giving everyone little hand santitizers from Bath & Body Works for Halloween!  This little box is a special gift for a special friend!

The little ghost is made in the same manner as the pumpkins I made for the Fall/Halloween blog hop last month.  The idea for a 3D ghost came from Holly at Ribbon's & Glue.  I cut 6 ghosts from Paper Dolls Dress-Up, folded 5 of them and adhere them together onto the 6th ghost.  My daughter wanted a girl ghost so I had to add a bow made with this delicious Orange Licorice Bakers Twine (available at My Craft Spot)!

I used Candy Corn Kisses for the tag and several Halloween colors of Crinkle Ribbon for the bow.

Please join us this week at My Craft Spot for our 3D Halloween challenge!  If you haven't seen them, make sure you check out the amazing projects from the My Craft Spot DT and have you met the new talented Design Team members yet?  If not, you can HERE!  Thanks for stopping by today!

Thankful Thursday Monsters Mash Challenge

Hello Everyone!  Sorry I'm posting late today!  This week we have a super fun challenge at Thankful Thursday for all your little (or big) monsters!  It is our Monster Mash challenge and we want to see you making a project with a monster on it for/with your little or big monsters!  Here is our project!

My older girls like to call their little sister "Baby Monster" because she likes to destroy things!  Even our preschool class calls her Baby Monster because she likes to make a mess at the school then they have to clean it up!!

Oldest E wanted to make something for Baby Monster but unfortunately everyone came down with the flu in our house.  I threw this together yesterday while everyone was sleeping.  We were sad we couldn't make something together but everyone was happy with the end product!

I needed some inspiration, so I attempted to use the October Sketch from Artful Delights (ASC #13).    All the paper and monsters are from My Little Shoebox's Imaginary Friends line.  The rest of the Thankful Thursday Design Team have come up with some amazing Monster Mash projects!  Please join us at Crazy About Cricut for our fun Monster challenge!

Good morning!  It is Sunday which means another fun challenge at Birthday Sundaes!  Today is the start of our 30th challenge!  I can't believe it!  Time flies when you're having fun and we have another fun challenge for you!  This week we want to see Fall Colors on your Birthday Cards!  The Birthday Sundaes Design Team has come up with some gorgeous cards for your inspiration!  Here is my card!

My girls have been enjoying all the squirrels scurrying around collecting nuts!  I thought this card would be fitting for a Fall Colors Birthday Card!

I just love the colors for this challenge!  I had to mix a few different stamps to get the right feel for this belated birthday card!  The "Awwww Nuts" is from My Pink Stamper, "Happy Birthday" is from My Craft Spot and "(A little late)" is Stampin' Up!  The gorgeous Crinkle Ribbon is My Craft Spot!  Speaking of My Craft Spot, Kimberly is looking for a few new Design Team members but the call ends tomorrow!  Click HERE for more info!

My Craft Spot #28 Too Cute to Spook

Hello Everyone!  Can you believe it is October already!  I LOVE working on Halloween projects so much that I start in the summer!  It helps me to accomplish everything in time to start with my Christmas projects which is right around the corner!  Well, if you love working on Halloween projects, we have the challenge for you this week at My Craft Spot!!   This week our challenge is Too Cute to Spook and we want to see some cute Halloween projects....EEK!  I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!  Here is my inspiration for you!
I am a little behind on my scrapbooking (like so many other scrapbookers...hehe)!  These pics are from 2009 and my girls wanted to be witchy-witches for Halloween!  They were seriously obsessed with Wizard of Oz and the Wicked Witch so that is what I made them for their costumes!

I knew when I saw the "Too Cute to Spook" stamp from My Craft Spot's Candy Corn Kisses stamp set that I wanted to use it with these pictures!  I also added some Black Diamond Crinkle Ribbon which looks so nice with the little bit of shimmer from the glitter!

This little banner was originally part of my side step card from the My Craft Spot Stamp Release Party!  It didn't hang nicely, so this is where it ended up and I was thrilled with it!  I used these fantastic colored googlie eyes from Michaels and some of the delicious Orange Licorice Bakers Twine available at My Craft Spot

My fellow My Craft Spot Design Teammates have come up with some wonderful inspiration for you too!  Please join us this week for our Too Cute to Spook challenge!  Also, if you enjoy playing along make sure you check out the Design Team Call going on right now!  Kimberly is looking for 4 new DT memebers for the next term!  You can see more details HERE!   Thank you for stopping by today!

I cut an 8" Hello Kitty card base from Hello Kitty Greetings and I cut a present for her to hold (it helps her stand up)!  She is dressed with MME Happy Go Lucky paper.

I used Hot Pink Crinkle Ribbon and Pink Sorbet Bakers Twine, both from My Craft Spot, for the bow and added a sentiment from Inside & Out Stamp Set #2 on the tag.
I also made some adjustments to make a back side for Hello Kitty too!  My daughter really liked that touch!

The inside is stamped with two different birthday sentiments both from My Craft Spot Inside & Out Set #2 which you have a chance to win this week by playing along at Birthday Sundaes!  Make sure you check out the rest of the DT's beautiful birthday cards with ribbon and link yours up by next Saturday!  Thank you Kimberly for sponsoring us this week!  Stop back tomorrow to see the new My Craft Spot challenge!  Thanks for stopping by today!
