My Craft Spot Anything Goes Challenge

Good Morning Everyone!  I hope you all had a great weekend!  We spent the weekend scrapping and relaxing here!  I spent the previous weekend at my annual crop with a group of very talented friends!  It is always an enjoyable trip and a great way to kick start the New Year in a scrappy way!!  We spend the entire weekend scrapbooking, chatting and eating at a B&B!  No cleaning, no cooking and no crying kids (or husbands)!  You can't get any better than that...haha!
Anyway, we have a fun new challenge this week at My Craft Spot!  It is everyones favorite, Anything Goes...YAY!  I thought I would share one of the pages I made on my trip for your Anything Goes inspiration!  It is a warm change from all the winter/valentines projects lately!

This picture is one of my favs from our trip to the Zoo this past summer.  I used the January Artful Delight's sketch for inspiration on this LO.  I was going to play along with that challenge but I did not get it entered in time!

The paper is Bo Bunny and cardstock is from SU!  I used bright colored My Craft Spot Crinkle Ribbon for an accent on the Title block!

I doodled all around the the blocks with my Journaler pen and added a banner with some Bakers Twine from My Craft Spot and scraps of Bo Bunny Double Dot!  I love how bright and cheerful this LO turned out!

Please stop by My Craft Spot and check out the rest of the amazing projects the Design Team created and play along with our Anything Goes challenge this week!  Don't forget that the Design Team is taking turns sharing their projects using the new My Craft Spot stamp sets for a few more weeks!  There are chances to win, so be sure to stop by and check them out!  Thanks for stopping by today!

Kiddos Post

Hello Everyone!  I hope you are having a great weekend!  I have been busy working on Birthday stuff for Oldest E's party next month!  I can't believe she is going to be six already!  They grow too fast!  The owls from my last post have been transformed into birthday invitations which means that we now need to make new valentines.  The girls have also been busy in the craft room while I work.  They get bored working on things in bulk so they took a break to work on a few of their own projects!  They wanted to play in the La-La Land Crafts for Kids Contest this month.  The challenge was to use two different ribbons on their projects.  Here are their cards.

Middle E was a ballerina all this week in her pretend world!  Naturally, she picked out this adorable Ballerina Marci stamp from La-La Land Stamps to use on her cards!  Mommy's Birthday is also next month, so she made this for me!  She also made a Birthday card for her teacher and cards for some friends!

Oldest E has been working on thank you cards.  She liked the way Middle E placed a bow in her Ballerina's hair so she wanted bows in Scout Marci's hair too!  That is all from the Es today!  Thanks for stopping by!

Thankful Thursday Valentine Hop

Goodmorning Everyone!  Welcome to the Thankful Thursday Valentine Blog Hop hosted by Jenny at Crazy about Cricut!  This year, Jenny is changing things up!  Thankful Thursdays are now going to be a monthly blog hop.  They will be on the last Thursday of every month and there will be a link for people to link their projects up at the end.  This month our theme is Valentines Day!  Thankful Thursday is still about crafting with your kiddos and/or loved ones so lets see those Valentines Day Projects!

You should have arrived from Leah's blog at Leah's Card Designs!  If you are just stopping by to visit today and want to hop along, please go to Crazy about Cricut and start from the beginning!  Time has not been on our side lately, so I was thankful for the opportunity to craft with my kiddos this week!  Here is what we came up with!

Isn't he cute?!?!  We mixed some stamp sets to get our adorable sentiment!  "Valentine" comes from My Craft Spot's Build a Valentine Set and "Whooooooo loves you?" comes from My Pink Stamper.

We started out with the Stampin' Up! Top Note Die and cut it in half.

Then we got busy with some punches (my girl's love punching paper)!!

The flower works perfect for the beak and feet!

Again, the top not die needs to be cut in half.

Face Layout....

Body Layout....

The wings are made by hand cutting them out of an extra body piece.

Oldest E received some dimensionals for Christmas, so she is all about popping everything up!  After we got this all done, she decided she wants the owls for her Birthday invitations instead...haha!  Kids...we'll see what happens with them!

So, who wants some Blog Candy?
All commenters at Crazy about Cricut will be entered for the prize, but everybody who links up a project will get 2 additional entries. So by hopping/commenting and linking a project, you will have 3 times the chances to win the Space Party Cartridge...WooHoo!!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Your next stop in this Valentine Hop is my very talented friend

Here is the line-up in case you lose your way!
