Whatcha Been Doing this Summer Blog Hop

Hello Everyone!  Welcome to the Whatcha Been Doing this Summer Blog Hop hosted by Jenny at Crazy about Cricut and the Thankful Thursday Design Team!  Thankful Thursday is all about getting crafty with your kiddos (or loved ones)!!  If you are coming from the talented Cheryl at Cards by CG then you are heading in the right direction!  If not, stop by Crazy about Cricut to start from the beginning!

My girls wanted me to share with you all the fun they have been having this summer while participating in the Passport to Imagination program at Michaels!  It was every Tues, Thurs & Sat afternoons in June/July and even my littlest monster could enjoy the crafts.  We had fun making our projects at the store then we would head home to make the Take-Home projects too!  Here are just a few pics of the fun projects they have created while discovering the world through crafts!

North Pole and Kenya Lion Pin

Mexico Butterfly, Thailand Elephant Necklace, United States Flag and Madagascar Flag

Mexico Gecko and China Fortune Cookie

China Panda Foam Can Hug

Kenya Take-Home Project

Japan Koi Kite

Morocco Pink Flamingo Keychain
Their FAVORITE project of the summer were the Russia Pom Pom Bears!!!

My girls have had so much fun that we have already decided for next year we are going to take a picture each day so they can make a Passport Scrapbook!

I hope you enjoyed our crafty summer fun!  All the project instructions are available on Michaels Passport to Imagination website!  Thanks for stopping by today!

Hi Amber (and to your girls too),

I just love the little crafts. I had no idea Michaels did craft workshops for the summer. :( I'll have to keep an eye out for next summer.

And, what a great idea to scrapbook the crafts next year. <3

Big Hugs,

A pasport scrapbook what a great idea! You should suggest that to Michaels. Your kiddos did a great job with all of their crafts. TFS.
