Today is the first day of the My Craft Spot Holiday Stamp Release Party! WooHoo!!! Kimberly has done it again with a new Holiday line of Stamps Sets, some beautiful Crinkle Ribbon sets in holiday colors and she now has some new delicious colors of Bakers Twine! I've been having so much fun playing with all these new sets! We will be sneak peeking a new set every day this week at My Craft Spot and then Saturday all 5 Stamp Sets will be revealed and available for order! There will prizes all week and we'll end the week with a Blog Hop and stamp set to be won at every stop!
Today's set we are sneak peeking is called Jingle All the Way! Here is what I made!
This is one of the many hand made items I like to make each year (and my family now expects them). I collect my burnt out lightbulbs all year so I can re-purpose them into christmas ornaments. Over the years I've made Snowmen, Santa, Mrs. Claus, Rudolph and now the Grinch!
This "Merry Christmas" is just one of the cute stamps in this fun Jingle All the Way set! It makes the perfect tag to go with my bulbs!
The bulbs are super easy to make! I painted them green and the tops red. Once it dried, I drew the face on with a black permanent marker. I used hot glue for the fur on the hat. I applied it to the hat then let it cool slightly. Then I stuck my finger in it to roughed it up to give it dimension and painted it white after it dried! Super easy! The hardest part is finding a place in my house to let it sit and dry without getting fingerprints on it! It is also getting harder now that the new bulbs last longer!!
So, there is my first sneak peek for the week! I'll be back again tomorrow with another fun project using another one of the new sets! If you haven't seen them, you must stop by My Craft Spot to see all the amazing projects Kimberly and the Design Team have made using the Jingle All the Way Stamp Set! You'll have a chance to win the Friends & Neighbors stamp set (stop by My Craft Spot to see how)! Thank for stopping by today!
