Digital Stamping is very new to me. I promised my husband I would not get into it since I had taken over an entire dresser for my rubber stamps! Well, when I found out I had made the Birthday Sundaes DT and that we would be using Digital Stamps, I decided I better start practicing (sorry honey...at least these do not take up any space). I do not own Copics (insert sad face here) but I do have a very nice set of Stampin' Write Markers from Stampin' Up! so that is what I have been practicing with. I made my card a Joy Fold Card using the cutest Ladybug paper I found at my LSS.
Now, I could not find the perfect shade of pink in my Stampin' Write Markers to match the paper so I ended up using one of my Hot Pink Bic Markers to color Ladybug Kaela. I then used Melon Mambo for shading.
Since the paper was embossed I decided to add some embossed highlights to the hat, spots, and shoes. I love how it turned out!
After coloring/embossing Ladybug Kaela, I cut her out and popped her up using dimensionals. I curled some strips of paper to make the little antennas since they were too tiny to cut out nicely and since none of my stamps fit in the space I wanted them, I printed my sentiment out on my computer.
